Behavior Analyst Job Description
Behavior analysts study and assess individuals with behavioral problems, as well as what sort of a behavioral impact changes to their environment can create. Behavioral analysts either work in either a research capacity or as applied behavioral analysts.Behavior Analyst Job Duties
• Conduct studies that measure specific behavioral influences, such as the environment surrounding the individual• Look for new ways to solve behavioral problems in specific audiences, such as school children or the elderly
• Assist in the treatment of various mental health issues, such as autism and developmental disabilities
• Assist individuals in identifying their needs and formulating treatment plans to manage problematic behaviors
• Monitor the progress of individuals under their care
• Keep comprehensive case files
